The Keys to SuccessYoung couples often start their life together with debt and stress. Student loans, car loans and credit card payments are the norm, but they leave you feeling pressured to make the payments, frustrated that you have nothing to show for your hard work and questioning if you’ll ever be able to get ahead. Stress levels rise, marriages get tense and you lose hope that life will ever get any easier. Simply put, you feel like a hamster in a wheel.
I started off adulthood with my fair share of mistakes. Credit cards, car loans and money wasted on things I didn’t really need. As a single man, my financial management revolved around the bank account balance – until the expenses started to outweigh the income. Forced to accept my mistakes, I embraced the concept of budgeting, and began to learn how money really works, and how it can work for me.
Today, my wife and I are completely debt free! We are saving for retirement and kids’ college funds. We only pay cash for vehicles. I’ve learned how crucial a correct mindset and behavior management are to finding financial success. And I am honored to help young people create a plan to achieve their dreams and change their lives for the better.
